Bike Friendly BB Treviso

Bike tourism is becoming ever more popular among Italians, but Italy also hosts many foreigners who for some time have adopted this mode of travel; that’s why three years ago, we started adapt to cyclists’ needs, including, among other things, the storage and rental of bikes. While biking is of course a “normal” activity, it’s still not so prevalent that you’ll find it accommodated by hotel chains, or even in the small structures in the historic center, which don’t have enough space to serve cyclists.

In the past few years however, various routes and itineraries for bike tourists have emerged. From those within Regione Veneto to Project Green Tour, there are efforts on both local and international levels to make bike tourism more popular, and has transformed Treviso into the perfect intersection of some of the major routes offered to bike tourists in the region. Among the most well-known to emerge are the Ciclovia Monaco Venezia and the Treviso Ostiglia, but it’s also worth mentioning smaller routes such as L’Anello del Montello, the Gira Sile, or the Via Claudia Augusta.

Over the past few years, we have had the pleasure of hosting countless bike tourists, and we have learned to understand their needs and the constant change they experience with the evolution of bikes and their technology.

Characteristics that make BBTreviso a truly bike-friendly place:

Years ago, cyclists always used simpler bikes that required much less attention, but today, with the advent of the electric bike and the subsequent necessity of having a safe place in which to store it and to recharge the battery, we have adapted to these needs so you can sleep soundly at night.

We also offer the availability of a pump that is compatible with Presta/Schrader valves, a small office complete with the most common tools, such as English keys, tire lifters, and basic materials to be able to repair small bike damage.

Lastly, we offer special accommodation arrangements: the possibility of staying for even just one night, a “boosted” breakfast for those who participate in sports, flexible hours that you can arrange either directly on our site or by contacting us with a special rate.

We’ve included a few links to useful sites to get to better know the area and to entice you to take your bike out for a ride. Hopefully you’ll decide to stay with us for a day or two to explore our beautiful city and its surroundings.

See you soon!
